Benchmark's IR remote control unit is constructed from di-cast aluminium. This high-quality remote is compatible with the Benchmark's extended family of DAC (including legacy units such as DAC1** and 2) and HPA4* models. The unit is designed for comfort, ease of use, and durability.

The remote includes intelligent dimming and muting functions. The 'DIM' button toggles the DAC between two independent volume control settings.  Both of these volume settings can be adjusted using the 'Volume' up and down buttons.  The 'DIM' feature is ideal for HDTV users, as it allows you to set your preferred 'DIM' level for commercials, etc.

The 'MUTE' button fades down the volume to the 'DIM' level before muting and smoothly raises the volume to the normal level after un-muting.

The remote has exceptional range, making it exceptionally easy to use.  In most cases it is not necessary to aim the remote at the DAC.

Separate 'ON' and 'OFF buttons allow unambiguous programming of universal remote systems.  Dedicated input select buttons allow quick access to input sources.

* Only 1 remote is required to operate both an HPA4 and accompanying DAC model.
** This unit is compatible with early DAC1 HDR converters that shipped with a plastic remote, but the dedicated input select buttons will not work with these early units.

UK Delivery

• Royal Mail Special Delivery By 1pm costs between £5.00 - £10.00 on orders to value under £300, dependent on weight.
• Saturday or Sunday delivery available upon request for supplemental charge.

EU Delivery

• £25 delivery charge 'Flat Fee' via DHL Europe by Road service (5-7 days) which provides comprehensive tracking of shipments online.
• £50 delivery charge 'Flat Fee' via DHL Europe by Air service  (2-3 days) which provides comprehensive tracking of shipments online.
  Receiver is responsible for the payment of local Duties and Taxes.

USA & Canada Delivery

• Services based on your order being shipped to the U.S. and Canada are calculated as follows:
  £100 delivery charge 'Flat Fee' via DHL international 'Day Definite' service per parcel.
  Receiver is responsible for the payment of local Duties and Taxes.

Exceptions

• Not all products are available for order into Europe, USA & Canada

WARRANTY

• Full manufacturer's warranty on all new purchases. Standard warranty is typically 12 months to 2 years with some goods coming with 6 years manufacturer's warranty.
• Goods purchased in UK and EU are covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
