Fostex HPA8C MK2 DAC and Headphone Amp

Fostex present their latest version of their acclaimed HPA8 digital to analogue converter. The HPA8 Mk2 is equipped with high-quality 32bit-DA conversion (AK4490), an all discrete circuit and a built-in headphone amp.

Sampling frequencies of up to 32 bit/192 kHz are supported through Fostex’s specially developed USB driver. In addition, the unit supports DSD* 11.2 MHz (ASIO).

*DSD playback on Mac is compatible up to 5.6 MHz​

• ‘Asynchronous mode’ eliminates jitter caused by low accuracy computer source clock
• High-accuracy electronic volume for audio level control

• Computers, digital and analogue audio devices can be used as input source
• Plays DSF files, WAV files and AIFF files on an SD (SDHC) card directly using built-in SD (SDHC) card drive

• Switchable 1x, 2x or 4x up-sampling function
• Switchable digital filter
• 24 level gain settings for headphone output
• Direct analogue output that does not pass through the volume

• Independent clocks for 44.1K factor and 48K factor

EU Delivery

• £25 delivery charge 'Flat Fee' via DHL Europe by Road service (5-7 days) which provides comprehensive tracking of shipments online.
• £50 delivery charge 'Flat Fee' via DHL Europe by Air service  (2-3 days) which provides comprehensive tracking of shipments online.
  Receiver is responsible for the payment of local Duties and Taxes.

USA & Canada Delivery

• Services based on your order being shipped to the U.S. and Canada are calculated as follows:
  £100 delivery charge 'Flat Fee' via DHL international 'Day Definite' service per parcel.
  Receiver is responsible for the payment of local Duties and Taxes.

• Not all products are available for order into Europe, USA & Canada

WARRANTY

• Full manufacturer's warranty on all new purchases. Standard warranty is typically 12 months to 2 years with some goods coming with 6 years manufacturer's warranty.
• Goods purchased in UK and EU are covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
